Podiatry is generously covered by most supplementary insurance plans (aanvullende verzekering). Your deductible (eigen risico) does not apply, and in most cases no referral from your GP is required.
Some insurers include a combined budget for foot care (voetzorg), which also covers other foot care providers such as a medical pedicurist. This can affect your individual reimbursement if you are being treated by multiple foot care providers. Please check this in advance to avoid surprises.
